In Stillness is an album I've wanted to produce for as long as I've been recording. It was the perfect merging of many things that paved the way for this album to be created; a pair of KM 184 microphones - a new guitar made for me by Froggy Bottom Guitars, new Universal Audio preamps - and most of all: the ability to record in a relaxed - sound-proof environment with inspiration. Some songs were recorded as they were written - an attribute long associated with many of my albums...and some were taken from my morning sketch's, rehearsed exstensively - and recorded. Finally, to top it off, I obtained new tools to do my own mastering. The result is a finely honed instrumental album that is consistent throughout -very meditative and vast becoming a  favorite of healers and therapists. One massage therapist in particular, Peter Esterquest from the South Royalton, Vermont area wrote:"Some of the most relaxing music I've heard. I play it for my massage clients all the time.

This weekend there are two dates, October 8th and October 10th when I'll be performing at 2 venues: The Adamant Music Club Winter Concert Series and a benefit called: Vermont Throws Itself Together with Rory Block headlining along with an appearance by the Bread & Puppet Theatre, Lucas Adler's Picture This contemporary jazz, local favorites the Eames Brothers and a bunch more. It's supposeded to be a beautiful day so they've turned it into a day festival and I'll be opening the event at 2:00. The Adamant concert begins at 7:00 PM - and there is a $10 admission.
