The duo of Spencer Lewis and Chas Eller merges the steel-stringed acoustic guitar and violin with piano and Hammond B-3 organ. It reprises some of Lewis's most well-known work from his prolific series of instrumental music, including “The Silence Between the Words,” picked by Seven Days as “One of the top 20 CDs of 1998.” Their collaboration continues with Lewis’ vast singer-songwriter catalog of original and vintage folk-rock from the artists who defined the genre. Chas Eller is a session musician and keyboardist from the legendary bands Kilimanjaro and the beloved Unknown Blues Band. Their blend delivers passionate singer-songwriter material with soulful musical mediations resulting in an uplifting, serene, and poignant soundscape.
